At PCI we constantly strive for excellence. We believe investing in our associates is the best way to create a great place to work. We hire for attitude and train for skills. Once someone has become a part of our team, we trust that they can easily manage their tasks by themselves. By giving our associates autonomy we know they will accomplish the tasks in their unique manner. Self-management is key to PCI’s success.
“You hired me based on my skills and my ability to perform a function. Let me go. Once an associate knows what is required, turn them loose. They already demonstrated what they can do and let them do it with a little bit of gentle coaching,” advises PCI associate, Debbie Warren. With only having the strategic lines in place, PCI associates are able to implement the global strategy at their level.
Being self-managed does require some self-discipline. You don’t have to be afraid to ask for help when you need it. Being self-managed means you bring it to the game every day to win, from the time you’re there first thing in the morning till the time you’re finished at the end of the day. It also comes with a sense of fulfillment and the understanding that your work determines the quality of your team’s work.
With more freedom comes great responsibility and here at PCI we know that it’s up to each and every one of us to give our best for our partners and customers. PCI aims to design an environment where all the associates contribute to creating impeccable results and a fun work place.
